Centres and activities

Ongoing projects /social services provided:
SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS IN DIFFICULTY WITHIN FAMILIAL MODULES

The integrated familial houses protect children, young people and adults from the institutions for disabled persons or for persons who require special protection under the law (without family ties):
–          The Barbara family house (open since 1993, closed in September 2012), reopened in 2015 as a Centre of recovery and alternative therapies for the beneficiaries of family houses;

–           The Ana-Maria family house (reopened in September 2012) – 12 beneficiaries;

–          The  Claudia family house (reopened in September 2012) – 4 beneficiaries;

–          The Francesca family house (open since 1999)- 10 beneficiaries;

Objectives:
-providing a securing, tolerant, understanding ambient close to the familial one, based on stable emotional relationships;
-ensuring the basic needs and professional services of care, habilitation, rehabilitation, education, depending on the needs, possibilities and preferences of each person;
-ensuring the access to education and professional training in community schools;
-stimulating to the maximum the potential of each person;
-stimulating personal autonomy;
– ensuring training for an autonomous, responsible, social life.

PROJECT OF SOCIO-FAMILY REINTEGRATION “BAIETI DE TREABA/GOOD BOYS”, Prislop, Maramures,
conducted from the year 2006 to the present, in partnership with The “IHTIS” Foundation, Prislop;

Beneficiaries: 10 disabled adults, from the family houses of the “Il Chicco” Humanitarian Association;

Purpose: Socio-psychological and economic support for the monastery and families open to welcoming a disabled adults within the “Il Chicco” Association in their own house.

PROJECT OF SOCIO-PROFESSIONAL REINTEGRATION “Il Volo”, Iaşi,
(open since 2001)

Beneficiaries: The integration of 13 adult females in the economic context of the municipality of Iaşi;

Purpose: the integration in the labour market of the young females trained in the bakery of the association and more;

SUPPORT FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WITHIN PROTECTED DWELLINGS

The protected dwellings host young people and adults with special needs (coming from the family houses)

a.       The protected dwelling Patrizia House (open since 1998 )
– 4 beneficiaries
b.      The protected dwelling Carmine House (open since 2000 )
– 5 beneficiaries;
c.       The protected dwelling Albero della Vita/the trhee of life  House (open in Prislop Village,Boiu Mare-Mara Mures in 2017) –  for married beneficiaries;

THE “AQUILOTTI/EAGLETS” DAY CENTRE, a project conducted from 2015-present;
Beneficiaries: 14 pre-school children in difficulty in the commune of Bârnova, Iaşi;
Purpose: providing professional informal and non-formal educational services, recreation, socialization and acquisition of independent life skills in order to improve the quality of life of children in difficulty.
